From tenants’ rights to repair requests to landlord responsibilities— Shelterwell’s Landlord Enrichment Program builds upon landlords’ and property managers’ existing knowledge and expertise to strengthen relationships with their tenants.

  • Access to Shelterwell’s Landlord Enrichment Program’s six-lesson curriculum.

    Your company or property’s name and contact information listed on Shelterwell’s website.

    Access to a landlord liaison for questions and support regarding your tenants.

    Prioritized access to pre-filing mediation. For rental properties outside of Oklahoma County, pre-filing mediation sessions will be conducted over the phone or through Zoom

  • You must own or manage residential rental property in Oklahoma.

    To be eligible for any of the incentives listed above, the Landlord Enrichment Program curriculum must be completed in its entirety.

    For management companies with multiple properties (apartment complexes or mobile home communities), a representative from each property must complete the curriculum for that property to be listed on Shelterwell's website.

  • $90 per year (for you and one team member).

    Add-on: You may purchase training materials for your team members for an additional $60.

  • Increased knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations, especially relating to Fair Housing, can mitigate discrimination complaints and lawsuits.

    Building a foundation of communication and trust between you and your tenants can decrease disagreements, frustration, and turnover.

    Participating in pre-filing mediation saves time and money. You can participate from your home or office and avoid court and legal fees.
